Expert workshop: Enhancing the state of transport modelling in IAMs

The expert workshop took place on 19 November 2013 in Laxenburg, Austria and aimed at bringing together transport experts to share knowledge and ultimately provide guidance for improving Integrated Assessment Models.

Workshop participants discussed the present state of transport modelling within IAM frameworks, as well as challenges ahead. Special attention was given to data sources, modelling of behavioural aspects and consumer preferences as well as transport infrastructure.
